Salus Carta Limited (Waaves World Wide Group), a company marketing a unique personal portable health record, complete with imaging in professional quality, thanks to WAAVES, a proprietary imaging compression technology, is introducing today its product to a major region in Central Asia.

Local authorities have expressed a strong interest in providing its population with this service for several key reasons:

  • Salus Carta enables patients to keep all their medical records and to make them available to medical professionals whenever they need the information. Instead of carrying piles of documents and films of their X-Rays or MRI, or CT scans, patients will be able to keep everything - in professional quality - in a small card, compatible with all computers systems.

  • Physicians and medical professionals will have a direct access to patient’s medical history. They will be able to assess their condition much more quickly and efficiently, with huge potential benefits on the quality of their care, in daily practice as - very importantly - in emergency situations, where a quick access to proper information may mean a difference between life and death.

  • The public health care budget can potentially benefit greatly from using Halykmedcard, by avoiding unnecessary duplication of exams, especially imaging exams, since all exams, and medical images are particularly costly, become directly available to physicians in one click.
“Salus Carta can contain the whole medical records of each citizen of Central Asian countries, including up to 50 000 images in professional quality, and providing the cards would be a unique service from the authorities” said Mr Bernard Brigonnet, Executive Chairman of Salus Carta.
